SMOOTH AND NATURAL
I received this in medium-to-tan. Love the two-tone concept! I sweep across for a gradient look (popular with Korean makeup), or blend together for a flattering medium pink nude on my NC20-25 skintone. It glides on smoothly and lasts for 4hrs without eating or drinking. Love the light, eco-friendly packaging. Love TARTE. Too bad this product is discontinued, though the Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick may be a similar product.
LOVELY LIPSTICK
Tarte is a great brand and this lipstick proves it! It's very creamy and I love that it's a nude shade--my favorite! It looks really great.

I am a big fan of TARTE but had never tried this product. Was happy to see this in my box. Light and natural in color, with a creamy texture and goes on smooooooth. I like the packaging too.

I was so excited to see another amazing Tarte product! This lipstick did not disappoint. The shade did not match my skin tone but still looked amazing when I applied it. It's extremely smooth and you can't beat the beautiful packaging.
NOT SURE HOW TO USE THIS
The dual tone effect looked weird on my lips so I ended up mixing the two shades on the back of my hand and applying it with my fingertip. Came up with a rosy-beige shade which was okay. But applying it was too much effort for me so I passed the lipstick to a friend who loved the creamy texture. The packaging is lovely though.

Universally flattering
Usually I'm wary of anything claiming to self adjust due to previous disapointments, but this seems to actual look good on me. At first it goes on kind of bright and worried me, but I then run my finger over the top to kind of lnd it in and it's suddenly beautiful. It also doesn't irritate my skin at all and comes in cute eco packaging.
