How did this brand come to life?
The story of SKIN&CO begins just after the turn of the century, in 1911. Sabatino Balestra and his wife Giuseppina worked together and started their first “Emporium” in Umbria-Italy. Their promise was to deliver customers with fresh products and they continued to flourish for over ninety years. As time passed, SKIN&CO became more involved with offering a complete “Mediterranean experience” to their customers. During the 50s, even Italian and American movie stars were in love with their products. They would visit Giuseppina during the filming of Fellini movies and have her make facial oils to bring back home.
