I broke down and finally bought this. Don’t let the price scare you off, it does have a refill and the cushion can last about 3-4 months each. Don’t forget to flip the cushion when you think it’s done because you’ve still got a lot in there. The coverage is good if you pat instead of swipe and the applicator is awesome! The applicator is different from other cushions I’ve used and it seems to use less product with good coverage. I specifically bought it for pink undertone and when I initially applied, it looked yellow. I patted it out until it was blended and just like magic, it blended into what my skin color was but better looking. This does leave a dewy finish but i suspect you can use translucent powder to finish. I didn’t find the need to touch up. The mirror is also crystal clear.

Its really great to keep in your bag for touch ups throughout the day. And there are warmer colors for those of medium and tan skin tones to try out where as most cushions I have tried where geared towards lighter/Asian skin tones.

I love the SPF coverage and the idea of light weight coverage. I have found the application to be a bit awkward and messy. I have longer, natural nails and the product gets under and around them. It takes a few passes to cover blemishes and scarring. It looks streaky if you don't constantly pat it on. I just can't justify the price when I can get better, less expensive products. Then, apply them quicker and more consistently with my Beauty Blender.

I didn't get this product in my box, but after reading the amazing reviews I decided to go to sephora to get color tested and buy the compact. I have medium-olive skin (needed the compact meant for yellow undertones) so I tried the fair and it was too light, and the dark was too dark. Also, I found the product to be super heavy, not something I would want to wear, especially in the daytime! Apparently I'm in the minority not liking the product, but I definitely didn't want to spend the $60.
