I've actually purchased multiple jars of their original formula (pink jar). I'm really, really glad that I received this in my March Glossybox because I had no idea that they'd created a Pore Clarifying version of the balm. My only real complaint with the original balm was that, although it removed makeup, I still needed to wash my face really well afterward and follow up with a toner. With this new version, I felt that washing my face afterward wasn't quite as necessary, although I still did. The formula isn't as greasy and it left my face feeling clean and refreshed. I have really sensitive skin that is sometimes prone to folliculitis, and this product did not produce any adverse reactions. I assume the hypoallergenic formula is to thank for this :) It's really difficult to make a balm that doesn't have that waxy feel to it (after all, it's a balm), but Banila Co is getting closer and closer to finding ways to make the balm more water-soluble without crossing over into "micellar water" territory. Anyone who loves mascara, lipstick, or foundation is going to appreciate the Clean It Zero Pore Clarifying Cleansing Balm.
