I have never tried using this type of make-up sponge before for my foundation but it worked okay. I like the feel of this sponge it doesn't hurt under my eyes when I am applying concealer and it goes on smooth. I highly recommend this product!

I don't really get the rave with the beauty blender. I have bought the pink one awhile back, but I feel like all my foundation ends up on the sponge since it's damp and I need heavier coverage. I use the Cargo magic brush to apply foundation for the airbrush look and think it works much better. This is not a full size either.

I have used the pink beauty blender in the past so I was excited to see that this was part of the January box. I've been wanting to replace mine for a while now so this seemed liked the perfect opportunity to get it. I still haven't received my box, but I know from past experience that when you follow the instructions, this sponge is one of the best applicators of make-up around. I don't even use much make-up, just my tinted moisturizer, some eyeliner, mascara, and a gloss, but even then I notice a huge difference in the finish of my make-up when I apply my tinted moisturizer with the beauty blender. It is definitely a splurge since $20 for a sponge seems ridiculous, but it is a necessary splurge.
