5This has the most amazing menthol feel to it. It really makes you up in the morning and truly reduces the puffiness of my tired morning eyes.

2I was so excited to try this product when I received it in my glossybox! I went upstairs, cleansed and toned my face, waited for my skin to dry completely, and dabbed a small dot of this product under each of my eyes using my ring fingers.\r\n\r\nImmediately after applying a small amount of this product, very lightly, to my under-eye area, I experienced a light burning sensation. Almost a tingle, but slightly more uncomfortable. I waited it out, but it lasted a good little while. It wasn't so bad that I felt the need to remove the product, but it felt akin to having put alcohol around my eyes, or like the feeling of a mild sunburn.\r\n\r\nI tend to have sensitive skin, but I have no allergies and have never experienced anything to this effect despite having used numerous skin and eye-care products and serums. I didn't get the product directly in my eyes either, so this was a purely product-on-skin reaction.\r\n\r\nI gave it a 2 because it didn't seem fair to negate any possible merits of this serum based on one-time use of the product, but I am scared to try it again. Even if a light tingling/burning sensation is normal (and it was tolerable), it doesn't seem worth it to me to undergo that when there are plenty of effective eye serums that don't cause any discomfort--in fact, often quite the opposite.\r\n\r\nIt is possible that my experience was atypical, or that perhaps it reacted to something else on my skin (maybe something in my cleanser or toner?), or maybe it is too harsh for my skin. However, this product is a no-go for me, personally.
