Glides on smoothly, but I didn't notice a huge difference with its use. I do appreciate that the sample size is generous enough that I can add the primer to my beauty routine for a while, to see if my opinion changes. I did use it alone with a bit of pressed powder when I was in a natural mood and it worked great!
