I was thrilled to try a new pore refining primer; sadly, I couldn't get this to work no matter how I tried. This sad emulsion started to dry as soon as I applied it, making it impossible to get an even application.\r\nWorse yet, this streaked unevenly, flaked and pilled all over, making it impossible to use under foundation or BB cream. The pilling and flaking was so bad, I couldn't even use this alone.

When putting on the primer, it clumps up and doesn't absorb into the skin. At first I thought the primer just didn't work chemically with the makeup I was wearing but I decided to try it without makeup and it STILL clumped. No thanks.

This product makes my very dewy Korean BB cream matte. I love this BB cream upon application, but with my oily skin, after a few hours, it slides off my face. With this primer, it stayed put all day with no touchups. I would buy this again.

Not for my Dry Skin

Since I have incredibly dry/dehydrated skin, I tried this product as instructed as a makeup primer in my t-zone. It was a disaster. Even with minimal product used, it immediately pilled on my skin leaving it with an even rougher texture. My makeup did NOT go on smoothly at all after application, to the point that I washed my face again and started over.

One of my favorite things to do is try new primers, particularly ones that claim to promote a matte finish. This one is great, and I was so happy to find it in my March box! It does what it claims to do, help control shine and minimize the look of pores. I also appreciate that it includes ingredients that are benefiting my skin as well, however even without it I would have been thrilled with this product. Great, long wear mattifying primer that likes your skin back. Brilliant!
