In 2011, 11 stylists, chemists, entrepreneurs and investors joined forces to create a professional grade hair care line which was designed to bring salon-grade, hair-repairing ingredients to the masses.

The brand, derived from the Italian words for “luxury” and “silk,” is comprised of seven solution-oriented collections that do everything from healing a damaged scalp to infusing brittle strands with nutritive proteins. Each Luseta product, which comes packaged in eye-catching bright bottles, is formulated with natural ingredients like wild ginger, jojoba oil and pink rose, sourced from around the world. In addition, Luseta’s formulas sit between 5 and 7 in terms of PH levels, which is scientifically determined by the company’s research and development teams to be the best for your hair.

Existing Luseta collections include Tangle Free, Tea Tree, Coconut Milk, Macadamia Oil, Awapuhi Ginger, Keratin and Argan Oil. Two new ranges; Biotin and Collagen and Marula Oil, are due to roll out later this year. A complementary Luseta styling line, comprised of products like a dry shampoo and conditioner, finishing spray and sculpting clay, as well as product accessories like spin curlers and diffusers. Suffice to say, there’s something for everyone, and PS. it all smells amazing! One of our absolutely favorite’s here at GLOSSYBOX is Luseta’s Coconut Milk line, as it is filled with an array of vitamins, as well as iron, selenium, calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus thanks to coconut milk, as well as coconut oil, rich in hair- replenishing saturated fats, and coconut fruit extract. We love how soft the shampoo and conditioner makes our hair, as well as the delicate tropical scent, which takes us straight to the beach, reminding you of crashing waves and sepia sunsets long after your shower is done. Available in salons and department stores like Macy’s and JCPenney's, executives at the Los Angeles-based brand say they are focused on creating new series in the future based on customer feedback and needs. We say, bring it on!
