Clean Beauty Brands We Love

In celebration and awareness of Earth Month, we want to take a moment to make you aware and to celebrate some of our favorite clean beauty brands! Each brand featured here has made strides in clean beauty either in manufacturing, packaging, and empowerment campaigns! Also, you may recognize some brands from our Clean Beauty GLOSSYBOX this month, and for good reason.

As we’ve mentioned before, we want to empower our community’s push for transparency in clean skincare. And that transparency starts with the brands we use, and in turn what they put in their products for us to use. It’s like an accountability cycle!

We love these brand’s messages, policies, and efforts to make sure that our skin and the planet is clean and safe. Read our faves below!

Kiehl’s

Ok, so from our previous blog, you know that Kiehl’s policy is to have their products as naturally derived as possible. Did you also know you can recycle your Kiehl’s products and get a product in return? As part of their initiative to promote recycling, customers can come in with their empty Kiehl’s containers and receive a free travel product for every 10 donations.

Plus, with every item recycled, Kiehl’s will donate $1 to Recycle Across America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to make it easier for people to recycle.

dome BEAUTY

dome is one of our favorite brands for its dual mission to provide clean beauty for everyone. Not only do they practice clean beauty processing, packaging, and sourcing, but they also make sure that women of all skin tones can enjoy their products, which are cruelty-free.

Nuria

Nuria skin care was made with the dream of a world where all women have a chance to grow and flourish. That’s why this clean beauty brand contributes a portion of all sales to girls’ education, and to education women around the world on global skincare solutions.

John Masters

Other than promising great hair, John Masters has also created an ingredient promise to its consumers, ensuring all their products are created with at least 70% or more organic content. This includes ingredients without conventional or synthetic pesticides and fertilizers.

Derma E

Derma E’s M.O. is combining natural antioxidants, vitamins and botanicals with scientific expertise to ensure their products deliver unmatched results. All products are also vegan, cruelty-free, and do not contain parabens, sodium lauryl sulfates, petrolatum, mineral oil, artificial colors, gluten, soy or GMOs.

BYBI

BYBI is committed to creating products that are 100% naturally-derived and never use any synthetic ingredients. They also exclude any form of animal involvement in the production of their products, so they are also cruelty-free.

Oh, fun fact! BYBY stands for By Beauty Insiders. A perfect match for our GLOSSIES out there!

Juice Beauty

Juice Beauty offers award-winning skincare and makeup products filled with ingredients locally sourced from certified organic farmers, and manufacture all said products strictly in the US utilizing wind and solar power. That just blows us away.

Plus, for all of April they will donate $1 from every sale of their Organic Treatment Oil to the Environmental Working Group, a non-profit organization  that specializes in research and advocacy in the areas of agricultural subsidies, toxic chemicals, drinking water pollutants and corporate accountability.

We hope you GLOSSIES  had an amazing Earth month, and have found ways to give back and to give thought into your skincare regimen.
