Friendsgiving Meals To Do While Prepping Makeup

It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year.

And that means Thanksgiving.

Which means FOOD.

It also means 9 times out of 10, you may have to cook or bake something other than a fierce look for the big dinner.

But don’t worry! We scoured the internet (and by the internet we mean Pinterest) for some easy, but amazing dishes that will wow your guests while still giving you plenty of time to get ready for the big feast!

Gruyere, Mushroom, & Caramelized Onion Bites

If you want your dish to look fancy without spending a lot of time (or money), these little bites are perfect to prep, store, and reheat if need be!

Plus, since this is a legitimate appetizer dish, it’s perfect to whip up before heading out the door, arriving early, and snacking on while you help the host make dinner.

Bake This While: Applying nail polish, like NCLA’s Eat Pie, Drink Wine burgundy color!

Apple Pie Fries

For an alternative to a fall dinner classic, wow your fellow guests with this shareable dip combo that’ll ensure everyone get’s a ‘slice’ of apple goodness.

This is good as an appetizer, side dish, or a post dinner dessert.

Personally, I’d make a bunch of these and get a mini jar for the sauce to wrap as a parting gift! Snag this awesome party idea from delish.com!

Bake this While: Using a quick whitening paste, like Quikee, for a dazzling smile upon entering!

Garlic Butter Potatoes

It’s not the creamy mashed potatoes you’d expect, but it’s the savory, flaky, gluten-free potatoes your more finicky eaters will love. A perfect compromise to people that fight over the ‘best’ mashed potatoes is to not have them, but with the simplicity and proportion control this recipe offers, you can never make too much or too little if you calculate 2 potatoes per person (or 1 per child).

This little number take 20 minutes in the oven and can be prepped before you leave and popped right above the turkey upon arrival. If the oven lineup is too long however, the best best is to bake before hand and place some potatoes in a microwave safe plate later to heat up.
