Pretty in pink pigment

This is the first time trying this lip power pigment but I love Tarte's other products. Color is good and this glides on creamy. I don't like matte lipsticks but adding lip gloss over it was easy. (It is a little drying but not bad.) I'm glad I had a chance to test this lip product.

I really like the color and it goes on very smoothly. Don't leave it in your car or around hot temperatures though....my Glossybox was sitting in the sun (it was left on my porch and I live in FL) and when I opened this, it had melted! I had to apply with a brush.

Most of my make up drawer consists of Tarte products because they're so kind to my skin. I've bought a similar pencil before and had the same problem as I do with this one: their rosy colors that are supposed to be universally flattering end up a brick shade on me, even though I have naturally pink lips. And I also find them drying so I have cut it with lip balm. But it does last, no need to reapply!

I put this on absentmindedly as my friend and I were talking and she stopped mid-sentence to tell me that this is the absolute perfect color. I got up to look for myself and was floored. It really is the perfect shade. Usually pencils are dry and drag across the lips - this is actually hydrating. I absolutely love it and will be buying when I'm out. It's always in my purse and I love that it's slim and small enough to put in a clutch (or my pocket) when I'm out. Amazing shade and longevity.
