The Hot pack got really hot. The next day when I used my toner, some tannish stuff was on the cotton pad. I used my Clarisonic and usual skin routine the night before, so I was surprised. I'm guessing/hoping the charcoal in the mask pulled that stuff out.\r\nThe Cold pack gets really cold. I really, really loved it!!!!\r\nI couldn't find a spatula. I just used my fingers and went to town. :)\r\nWould buy this and recommend it to my friends.

I don't have terribly sensitive skin, but when I put on the hot mask, it really heated up, to the point that it was kind of painful. I held in there for about 5 minutes, then washed off with cold water and put on the cold mask. As soon as the cold mask touched my face, my eyes started to water. It was so painful that I immediately washed it off. Maybe my pores are cleaner (I can't tell), but I was surprised that I didn't end up with chemical burns and a red face.

What a treat this mask it! I put it in the fridge an hour before applying and oh it was so refreshing to my face! A lot of masks start to feel like the moisture has all been absorbed after 10 minutes. This one was wet wet the whole 30 minutes! Deeply moisturizing and absolutely lovely :)
