Beautiful color, but it creases badly
To be fair, I have hooded eyes, so when I get a crease in my eyeshadow, it is definitely caked in the crease. That said, I've received Laura Mercier cream shadows that stay perfect all day. This one doesn't do that. It's too bad, too, because it's a gorgeous color.
I love this shadow, but I’ve received two so far. Super shimmery and great for liner
eye shadow stic
creamy and easy to apply. also nice to put in travel back, great color.
Pretty - but also pretty unremarkable
This is a pretty gold eye crayon, but it didn't WOW the person I gave it to. They did say that it blended well though!
I love the color
I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like this shadow pencil. I'm not usually a fan of eyeshadow pencils because they tend to crease on me. This one had some issue on my naked eyelid but a little lid primer solved the issue. The color works great as a darker shade base or for the outer v. It goes on smooth and feels light during the day. I love that it has just a hint of light reflection without the glitter that you normally find in shimmery shadows. It's definitely a fun way to add some dimension without looking like you're headed to the club.
Great for makeup in a rush
This is great to use if you're in a rush and don't have time to do a proper smoky eye.
Very pretty too! This is great for when you just want a pop of color, and not a full done eye. Can also be used as a sort of primer. Glides on smoothly, blends nicely.
Goes on smoothly, very pretty base coat or for natural looking eyes.
Enjoyed Trying This Product
For the most part I really enjoyed using this eye shadow pencil. The color and shimmer are great. A few cautions...don't press too hard with the pencil. The tip of mine smooshed and I had to reshape it. It can also cake in the creases of your lids. I read somewhere else to try using a primer, so I plan to try that trick.
