foaming not enough soap

I have long hair and find that the trend of foaming dispensers is not enough for some products. Works fine but takes extra pumps to get enough.

While this product gave my hair volume, my hair felt dry after. There is a lot of product in that little travel size though. I don`t think you need to pump out as much as it says. I pumped out half the required amount and the result was the same.

The texture of my hair is long, fine, and curly. Typically I skip shampoo because it's drying and when I cut it really short shampoo became unnecessary. I still would rather not use shampoo at all (because of the chemicals) but this one feels like it doesn't leave any residue. It also claims not to have harsh chemicals.
