This is similar to other dry shampoos I have used but seemed a little thicker with more residue. It gave my hair a lot of texture so for me I think this product is better for thickening and volume when styling vs. cleaning. I have shoulder length, straight, fine hair and would wash or wet my hair everyday just to tame my bed-head. If I use a lighter dry shampoo before I go to bed it reduces my morning bed-head. This product didn't help my bed-head as much but added a lot of volume, so it depends what you're looking for.
