A box to gloss up your holiday
5This has some great products. The face mask is really nice and full sized. The Nuxe body scrub and Philip B body was both smell really good and make your skin smooth. I love Butter London and the teal sparkles are so prety for holiday nails. I haven't incorporated the highlighter into a makeup look yet, but it will work great for my Cristmas makeup look. I'm not a lipgloss girl, but the lipgloss is pretty and I will gift to a friend.

Negative reactions
2I had negative reactions to the pumpkin (burn your face off) mask and the (Wow, my eyes are itchy and red) Wink product. The moisturizer has an unpleasant smell and doesn't make my face feel smooth. On the flip side, the roses body wash is cool and the packaging is hilarious, and the nail polish is a gorgeous color. For me, this is a two product box. Really disappointed when I see what was in last December's box.

3I have to be honest with myself about this box. I am usually just excited to get my box every month, and while I value the amount of products I receive and the quality, this box is just underwhelming. I was really hoping to get the Rosewater Hand Cream and the Wink Brow enhancer, and I did not get either. This isn't the first time I have not received one of the items I really wanted. If I am being honest, it has happened with the last three boxes. I understand that this will happen, but it seems so frequent now. The Naobay Oxygenating Cream is just too greasy. And I love to use lotion, as I work in the food business and am constantly washing my hands, so hydration is a must! But this left much to be desired. I actually got out regular old Vaseline because it just wasn't working. I am confused as to why we would receive a face mask that can't be used on sensitive skin. I can't even use the Michael Todd Mask :( I am very disappointed in that. I feel like a lot of women are going to be upset about that. I am just okay with the Ardency Inn eyeliner. I like pens like this, but you can't really use them over your eye shadow, as they dry up. So I guess I will be saving it for a day where I don't wear shadow. I am very pleased with the Nails Inc. Polish and the Anatomicals Shower gel. I have no complaints about those! I have become a huge fan of Anatomicals since being introduced to them by GlossyBox. I gave a 3 heart rating because I just feel like I am in a GlossyBox rut. I always try to just be super positive about them, but I have to just call this one like it is. I do appreciate the products for the price. I promise that I am trying so hard not to be unreasonable! I am just a little disappointed. I was looking forward to the December Box ever since I got my subscription earlier this year. Maybe I had to great of expectations.

it's okay but not great
3There are some interest things in this months box. Wish I'd gotten the hand cream rather than the rose scented body wash because my hubby is allergic to the smell. The nail polish is a nice vampy red

Let down...
2I am new to GlossyBox but I have done much research on the company and also the subscription service.I was very excited as I am sure most people were to get the December box in the mail. I took a look back at last years December box and it was amazingly festive with a little extra surprise to go along with it. I figured that not only would the box be equally as great but even better now that the company has matured. Sadly, I was wrong. Do not get me wrong, the products in the box are good but considering this is the holiday season I had higher hopes. I understand there was a limited holiday box one could have purchased but I feel that the same quality put into that box should be given to every box (including regular subscription boxes). If i would have received this box any other month I would have been please but I had higher hopes for the December/January season. GlossyBox seems to pride itself on going above and beyond with adding small touches that make the product and the company stand out above the various other subscription competition and sell itself. With this box, I felt a lack of creativity. With that being said, I look forward to trying the products in my box and for the upcoming boxes in future months. I love the idea of GlossyBox and only hope that it will continue to remain creative and exciting to buyers.
