1st Box
4This was my first box and I really enjoyed getting it. It is always fun getting gifts in the mail - plus I love surprises! I was very happy to try out the items in this box. Love the eyeliner and Pureology.

still a little underwhelmed
3My first box did not impress me much at all (with the exception of the actual box itself - it is pretty), so I was hoping for better luck this time. Initially, I thought it would be great with an eyeliner, lip gloss, and a pretty pink nail polish. However, the lip gloss application is extremely odd as it just squeezes out of a medium to large hole in a plastic cap. It isn't shaped very well for application. The eyeliner was AMAZING (although somewhat hard to remove) until I had to sharpen it; it was basically useless after that as it did not sharpen well at all. I do not usually use nail polish (except on my toes - I go have those done about once a month), but I tried this polish in order to test the color. I loved the color for my nails, but it took three coats to cover. I am thinking about taking it to my nail salon to have them put it on for me, but I don't know - it seems REALLY thin (definitely something I am not comfortable with doing myself). The other items in the box were ok, but nothing really to write about.

2This was my first Glossybox and I am pretty unimpressed. The puffy under eye things didn't do anything for me. The nail color took 3 coats to get full coverage but by then, it looked heavy and weird. I do like the Truth Serum, it has a bright natural citrus scent and smooths on easily but what % of vitamin c is it? I don't trust products that claim an ingredient but don't tell you how much. I also only received 4 products and have just now realized there should have been 5. I don't mind the slow shipping and the packaging is the nicest of my beauty subscriptions. I wish I hadn't prepaid for 3 months but maybe they'll get better.

4My box contained:\r\n*Acqua Lacquer lip gloss\r\n*Pureology colour fanatic hair spray\r\n*Anatomicals puffy eye patches\r\n*Lauren B nail polish in city of angels\r\n*Kala color intense black eyeliner\r\n\r\nI love all boxes, but especially ones that have some kind of face lotion or face product because those are my favorite to try out. I was disappointed that this one didn't, but mostly happy about all the products nonetheless. I love the nail polish color, right on trend. I needed a new quality black eyeliner so that was great. The eye patches are a fun idea and I'll probably have a spa night with some friends and try them out. The hair spray is great for my color-treated hair, and I'll go through it quickly. The lip gloss is my least favorite item. It is a nice lip gloss and feels smooth and not too sticky, but I don't love lip gloss in general and I've already received three other lip glosses from them in the year I've been subscribing. I would've loved to have gotten the lip and eye active lift or the collagen boosting serum or the mattifying gel or the truffle therapy serum instead, but oh well.\r\n\r\nI got the eyelash curler in a box sometime last winter and was excited about that then, so glad others are getting it now!

4This is a great way to try new products that you read about in magazines but don't have access to try or purchase. This was my first box and I think I was more excited about getting the package, then the items in the box. I tried the nail polish and didn't like it. I can't wait to try the eye patches! I am very much looking forward to my March box.

5I also subscribe to Sample Society, Birchbox and GlossyBox is amazing! I love the boxes I receive more and more as the months go by. Definitely recommend it to my family and friends. It's the best way to try products

Always Something to Like!
3The reason I gave this 3 stars is because the bracelet I received broke seconds after putting on :( Also, I received the eyeliner in which is black.. a color I do not use. The polish is a lovely shade of pink and one that both my tweenager and I can share. It's perfect for spring! My favorite products in the box this month are the eye and lip lift as well as the eye de-puffer. Both are products that are useful to me as I fight 40-something beauty woes.
