Lip gloss is my favorite beauty product, and BECCA's liquid crystal lip topper was a winner. I loved the shiny, sparkly formula, but the color wasn't quite right for my skin tone. I wish that I'd been able to wear it on its own, but using it on top of a better-suited lipstick was a good solution.

The Becca lip topper applies smoothly and brings just the right amount of bling to accentuate lips. I have used it alone and over other lip products. It is great over some of the dark matte lip colors to add depth and soften the look. I love it!

To be perfectly honest I do not see the purpose of super glittery/get your hair stuck in your lips type of lipgloss. I look for a lip base that protects my lips from the changing seasons that looks natural and not sticky. This was the typical lipgloss that you wanted when you just turned 13 years old and wanted to have fun with makeup and this is all your mom would let you get. I look for function and practicality and this lacked this. I want to be trendy but not at this cost and not while sacrificing function.

I really like this gloss. I like that it can be worn alone or on top of other lip products. It took a little bit of playing with it to get the right look and it got sticky if I put too much on but it didn’t take much to get it right.
