I am very neutral on this product - it doesn't necessarily have all of the benefits it claims (for instance, I did not notice skin brightening), but it is easy to put on at night and it leaves my skin feeling soft the next day. It also does not interact with any other skincare products. All of the above means 3 stars to me - decent, but I wouldn't buy it if it was not a sample.

Good intro product to AHAs

I am an experienced user of topical alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). Because of this, I found this formula not as effective for me due to the lower percentage of AHA than what I currently use. However, that is not to say this isn't an effective, solid formulation, because it is! It has a lower percentage of AHA and a slow release, and therefore, is a more gentle way to introduce skin to the active ingredients. That's why I recommend this product for first time users of acids, and for sensitive skin types. I really like this time release overnight feature for delivery of dermatological active ingredients. (Just be sure to be especially diligent about sunscreen application when using AHAs and for a week or two afterwards.)

I didn't know what to really expect from this and I was a little hesitant because I was afraid it would irritate my skin. It didn't. It tingled a bit at first but it went away. It helped clear out my skin also, but didn't hydrate much though, hence why you can't use it too often. Overall good product to try!
