I’ve used coconut oil as a makeup remover before and this has a similar feeling. I’m just terrified it might be clogging my pores. It’s also kind of thick and harder to move around than coconut oil. Overall not my favorite.

I haven’t really come across a sample I really liked until the Elemis balm.  It’s application is really smooth and easy to apply. I love the fragrance.  I used it in the am and it left my face feeling tingly and fresh.  A definite boost to my morning routine.   I intend to incorporate this into my cleansing routine!

Not for oily skin types

I have oily skin so this just didn’t do good for me . I love Elemis products and love testing new ones . I would buy this for friends who are more on the dry side of skin types . As it works great to remove makeup just left my skin feeling oily and not clean .but again that is likely do to the fact I have oily skin

This stuff smells like the spa! The texture is similar to Vaseline, pretty thick but spreadable, thinning with heat. I like to use it for a cleansing mask instead of a daily cleanser. It cleans while nourishing my face. It feels so luxurious. I would highly recommend.

I find a lot of this brand uses "Trendy" ingredients that are virtually ineffective, then use Buzz Words for marketing, which drives the price WAY Up. Just not a fan all around.
