There was none in the pan. Instead, it had shattered, completely powderized and was all over everything inside both the Glossybox and the shipping carton. I imagine it's wonderfully pigmented and long lasting, though, since it managed to completely ruin the new white shirt I was wearing when I opened the box.

I was expecting amazing for this small of a compact and the price...don't get me wrong it's good, but not great. Shadow gets all over me when I'm applying, and doesn't blend as well as I'd like. I'm surprised this dark of a color was given out...I have olive skin so it works for me, but for light and fair women, I can imagine it would be way too dark.

I was so happy to see this product because I never would have picked a black shadow on my own. Now I have a black shadow to play with. Mainly been using as a liner (which I really don't need because I already have two black liners) and trying to smoke out the corners of my eyelid. Product is very smooth to the touch.

Arrived crumbled mess. :(

The shadow arrived crumbled and leaking out of its container, blackening most of the box's content's packaging. There was still some loose shadow in the container. Based on how badly it spreads and leaks, I really don't think it can be used without a serious primer base unless you want to end up with raccoon eyes. That said, with primer it spreads nicely. Just not sure I'd ever order the product online, based on how easily the sample shadow appears to have shattered within the securely packed box.
