When I pulled this out of the box, I immediately tried it out and without much pressure at all, one of the sides popped off of the hinge holding it onto the curler. Did this not happen to anyone else? I was not impressed. I will continue using my $1 ELF eyelash curler that actually stays together when used.

The day that my Glossbox arrived in the mail, I was thinking that I need to purchase a new eye lash curler this weekend, so I was excited to find one in my box. In the past, I have received free eye lash curlers and none have been great, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn this worked very well! Just as well as my current (MAC) curler. Great addition to the box!

Even if I decide to skip wearing mascara, I will still curl my eyelashes. Doing so, definitely opens up the eye and looks great. Because of this way of thinking, I have purchased every brand of eyelash curler, from inexpensive drug-store brands to the expensive, hard to find brands. From my experience, a perfect eyelash curler is one where the shape allows you to get close to the base of the eyelid to reach every lash, long or short, no matter what shape your eye is. The other important thing is how firmly the cushion/pad on the curler is. It has to be firm enough to deliver a nice, even curl, but still flexible enough to curl easily without feeling like your eyelashes are going to be ripped out when you squeeze the handle to curl them. I find that every brand of eyelash curler I have tried, performs okay with one of the 2 requirements, but never both and usually if you find a good firmness, after repeated use the cushion gets less firm/effective. This is usually when I toss the eyelash curler in the garbage. HOWEVER, the Emite Makeup Eyelash Curler won't be tossed anytime soon. This is the first eyelash curler that totally, 100% delivers on BOTH crucial aspects. The shape is perfect and I can easily reach every single lash with it and the curl it provides is absolutely ideal. I am so in love. The quality is high and the fact that it came with a bunch of replacement cushions/pads means that I will get to use this tool for a long time with no problem. I don't think I will buy and try another brand of eyelash curler ever again after using the fantastic Emite Makeup one. Just incredible.

I love this product , I was so pleased to get this in my GB I actually needed a new one and I do not really normally purchase high end eye lash curlers, to me 30+ for a eyelash curler is a little bit on the higher end but I love it! I am super excited , I also love the fact that it came with replacement guards! my old one kept pinching my eyelashes out ! :(
