5This is my first Illamasqua product. I'm not usually super wild when it comes to my personal makeup; but I love makeup for your alter ego as the company slogan says. When I saw one of their pencils in my box I was really thrilled. \r\n\r\nThe color I got is a yellow-y orange color called Thrash. When I first saw it I was thinking Uh....how am I gonna where that? Then I was daring and I tried it on my lips. As a reference I am a relatively fair brunette with brown eyes. I tried it on and it looked so good! Especially when I wear dark brown or a nice blue. Its definitely not something to wear everyday; but it truly felt like makeup for my alter ego! I've worn it out twice since I got it a week ago. I love it! \r\n\r\nPros:\r\n1. Versatility. I could use this as an eyeshadow base, an eyeliner for a bright summer look, as a lip color, or even as a blush. (Don't knock it before you try it!)\r\n\r\n2. The formula. It is a matte color but it's not terribly uncomfortable to wear. It is not a very soft pencil so it is very easy to outline your lips or draw a line on your eyes without it smudging all over the place. \r\n\r\n3. Staying power; it stays on quite a long time, mainly because it is matte and it is a pencil. I would not, however, call it a long-wearing product.\r\n\r\n4. The color...I will be honest I feel fierce when I wear this.\r\n\r\nCons:\r\n\r\n1. Ironically, the color. It IS a scary color. You have to wear it, not let it where you. Personally though, I love it. \r\n\r\n2. The price. I am cheap, I will admit. I'm 18 so I don't have tons of money to throw around. However, I really do love this pencil. If I had 20.00 dollars to spend I'd probably buy another pencil or at least another Illamasqua product.\r\n\r\n\r\nHow I wear it:\r\n\r\nI make sure the clothes I'm wearing go with this color, because it doesn't go with everything (In my opinion). I make sure my lips are exfoliated and moisturized. I blot off any excess balm then I outline my lips with the pencil and proceed to fill in my entire lip. I then blot again and re-apply. If I want some shine I'll top with balm or gloss, other times I'll keep it matte. I keep the rest of my face toned down and use the pencil as a blush on my cheek by really blending it out to tie the look together.\r\n\r\n\r\nAll in all, I love this product, I'd recommend it to a friend, and I plan on wearing it tonight when I go out.

3I received an orange color pencil, but used it as an eyeliner just to try it out since I have blue eyes (weird combo) & I was surprised how smooth application was! Disappointed by the color, although a very beautiful orange, but pleased with the quality and brand overall.\r\nThank you GlossyBox!

Would have like another color
3My rating is solely based on the color I got. I liked the pencil but the color I got was light green. Not only is it not a color I would wear but it hardly shows up on my skin. I would have been happier with black, brown, or even a gray or dark blue.

Good quality
3The pigmentation is good, and it feels very creamy going on. I don't think this pencil is waterproof, but it truly is a multi-use product. I like it!

Great product
4I love the consistency, and though some colors would be more difficult to use on both eyes and lips as marketed, I received a lovely deep purple that looks fantastic on both. A great product all around!

Completely in Love!
5I received this pencil in Hex (2E1), a nude color. I use it on my waterline, as well as a lipliner. It's the absolute perfect color to brighten eyes and lasts for hours. As a lipliner, it does a great job of keeping lipstick where it belongs without giving an over-made up look. Love it!

Pretty good....
4I received this in a bone white color, so it would make the perfect off white/ flesh color for lining the waterline. The pencil was a little hard at first, but most are. pigmentation was good and it lasted well in the waterline!

5I love this pencil. I got it in a medium nude color and use it for my waterline so it covers up any redness. It works great and has stayed put!

Quality
4This is a quality product, however I know that many individuals got colors they could not use. I received a light purple, so it would be suitable for lips more than eyes. It blends out if you don't wait too long.
