Would have loved this if not for the smell
3John Masters Organic Shampoo with lavender & rosemary delivered on what the insert and bottle promised and left my hair looking great- but smelling like the entrance to a Micheals Craft Store or AC Moore around the holidays. I was told by people around me that the scent wasn’t nearly as strong as I thought it smelt but it was on my head so my opinion counted most. I’m not generally into lavender fragranced products, I know a lot of people find them relaxing and they’re quite popular- and I think I could have dealt with just the lavender but the Rosemary pushed me over the edge. I felt like I had a head full of potpourri combined with a McCormick spice pack. Now I do have to stress again when I described this to friends and family they pretty much told me I was bonkers. They said my hair definitely had a lavender fragrance with something else they couldn’t place (I’m guessing the rosemary) and more or less that it wasn’t their favorite shampoo they had ever smelled so there was definitely something about this scent combo that I, and my immediate friends and family were not into. It’s a shame because the product really did leave my hair looking great and I would have paid the the full price for a full sized bottle if I could have tolerated the smell. If you’re a person into the small of lavender and/or rosemary definitely give it a try though because as I said the results were great on my hair, it was shiny and bouncy and full of life- just not a smell for me.

Mediocre shampoo
2I wish Glossybox would stop sending me shampoos and conditioners. I've very picky about my hair products and use custom color depositing types to keep my purple color fresh. This shampoo was very lackluster and didn't really provide any noteworthy results. I'll pass it on to someone else.

Smells lovely, leaves hair hydrated

5I have tried a few of this brand’s shampoos and conditioners and they are amazing! My hair feels so good afterwards. I have long, straight, fine hair. It makes my hair smooth and silky! I would highly recommend!

Great shampoo
4I really enjoyed using this shampoo. First of all, I really love the scent. Lavender is one of my favorite scents so this shampoo was already off to a good start for me. Secondly, I love how well it worked. I usually have to do a double cleanse because my hair is so long, but I didn’t need to with this shampoo. Once was definitely enough. My hair felt squeaky clean and smelled wonder!

5The shampoo was of good quality. I have frizzy thick hair and need something that provides a little more tame to the frizz , but other then that this shampoo smelled great and left a nice clean look.
