It goes on smooth and stays put about as good as any black eyeliner I've used. I do have oily skin, even around my eyes, so eyeliner tends to melt, especially black. But this one did work well. I did have a hard time getting it to go on in a thin line. I blame that on the applicator...and probably my fault some too :o)

I am giving it 3 stars because I just had this sitting on my makeup table but somehow all the eyeliner fell out when I opened it to use it. I'm bummed because I only used 2 times before this happened. It was nice but wonder why it broke so easily.

I really like pencil eyeliners that I don't need to sharpen. This one is super black, very smooth, and looks great. Sometimes I wish I would get more eyeliners that aren't black but you really can't go wrong with a great classic black eyeliner overall!
