This is really nice. I think it works best for treating the pimples that form deep in the skin so they hurt when you touch them. If it's just forming I think using this can help to prevent it. If the deep acne spot has already formed, one application isn't enough to entirely eliminate it but it seems to significantly reduce the pain aspect. I don't think any other spot treatment I've used has been that effective versus the pain. Also, it dries the area some but not as much as other spot treatments I've tried containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. One thing to be aware of though, especially if you want to use this on the go or have very pale skin, is that it has a slight yellow tint to the liquid and the skin you apply it to will retain a thin film with that tint when it dries.
