Definitely assist in depositing the most amount of product as opposed to a sponge or brush. Just not the type of product I would use as I prefer a more natural finish.

Doesn’t eat my foundation!

I love that this applicator doesn’t absorb my foundation- since we all know foundation is t cheap and every drop counts.  It worked really well for applying foundation but wasn’t the best over breakout areas (just needed to touch those areas up with a smaller brush).

I don't need a heavy foundation and for the occasional CC creams I use, a sponge is not needed. Perhaps this is a better product for frequent foundation users.

Makeup drop silicone sponge

I was excited to use this after I seen the advertisements but I was disappointed. It didn't move the foundation around evenly, it felt strange and took awhile to spread. I liked that it was easy to clean but I used it once and haven't gone back to it, my regular makeup sponges work way better and I like that they absorb excess makeup. The drop sponge felt like I was just smearing makeup on my face with a piece of silicone, which is exactly what you're doing.

I'd never heard of silicone makeup applicator before so was a bit leery of trying it. I was so surprised how easy it was to use and how it really did use the foundation to cover without streaking that I went out and bought a couple for friends! It sure beats my old flocked sponges or the new beauty blend patting ones. I use less makeup (always a plus) but get excellent coverage. I am hooked!!
