Fan of BB Cream
4The September GLOSSYBOX (my first one ever) contained a full sized MISSA M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF42 PA+++ No. 13 (Bright Beige). However, if you go to the MISSHA website, No. 13 is noted as Milky Beige.\r\n\r\nI'm not familiar with MISSHA, but from the packaging the product is made in Korea and does not test on animals.\r\n\r\nWhat is a BB Cream? From what I've read, depending upon the brand and origin it is called a Beauty Balm in the US or Blemish Balm (copyright name in Korea). BB Cream was apparently created in Germany in the 1960s to protect skin after surgery, but became a must-have tool in the Asian countries starting in the 1980s. It is a multipurpose cream to use as a replacement for foundation or as a base for it.\r\n\r\nI have combination skin that can tend to be impacted by eczema and rosasea. So regular foundation never really works well for me, including the mineral foundations that is supposed to give your skin an airbrushed look.\r\n\r\nFirst to note is the SPF42 and PA+++. From the box this is based on the KFDA (Korean Food & Drug Administration) measurement. If you are unfamiliar with the PA rating this is apparently the UVA blocking coverage. So this product indicates full sun protection.\r\n\r\nThis product also indicates it covers blemishes, whitens skin, moisturizes and smooths and prevents wrinkles.\r\n\r\nWhat I like about BB Creams is that it is a lot like the tinted moisturizers that were big for awhile. This means it goes on a bit lighter than typical foundations and for me it blends in better so that it doesn't look like it is sitting on top of my skin like a mask and doesn't rub off easily. I can just apply this, some lip gloss and some mascara and go.\r\n\r\nI didn't have much in the way of blemishes, big surprise, but had some dry, scaly skin on my chin from an eczema episode that was healing. I also had a residual light tan to my normally fair skin.\r\n\r\nI've been using the cream for the last couple of weeks and the eczema wasn't aggravated and the skin continued to heal. My tan definitely faded more than expected. The sunspot on my forehead hasn't faded (probably need to use the product a lot longer to see some change), but my skin doesn't look as uneven as it did prior to using a BB Cream.\r\n\r\nMy skin feels soft, but I haven't seen much in the way of wrinkle reduction/healing, not that I have much problem with that. I'm blessed with good genes so that my skin looks younger than one would expect at my age.\r\n\r\nThe tint of this particular item is maybe a little lighter than I would like, but my skin is a bit tricky to match for tints and foundations so I'm not disappointed.\r\n\r\nThe GLOSSYBOX card indicates that a full size (1.69 oz) product would cost $29.99. (the MISSHA website has it on sale for $20.99 at the time of this review). This may be a reasonable price for a high end cosmetic, but I had been using a BB Cream I could get at the drugstore that I was pretty happy with.\r\n\r\nPackaging wise I don't really like the pump on the end of the tube. I would think it makes it a little harder to get all the last bit of the cream out of the tube. Also the added plastic cap just adds to more non-recyclable plastic, but allows you to send the tube up on the counter.\r\n\r\nCompared to the drugstore purchase, I do like the texture of this cream a bit more and it definitely whitened my skin faster (but the drugstore one wasn't claiming to whiten skin, just brighten) which isn't a big factor for me. I really look for something that doesn't irritate my skin (this didn't), heals blemishes (jury still out on this), moisturizes while providing a sheer finish that doesn't rub off (this fit the bill), can even my skin tone (this seems to do the trick), and protects from further damage (this has a high SPF).\r\n\r\nThe only reason I didn't give this 5 hearts was really just for the price and for the fact that it isn't really available in a store near me to run out and pick up.

5I already use a BB cream, but this has a lovely light texture. It looks extremely pale but blends in beautifully. I've been mixing it with my other cream which can look a bit ashy and the combo is perfect. Love that it has such good sunscreen protection.

AMAZING
5Wow is all I can say about this. First BB Cream I've ever used and I'm hooked. I have acne and have to always apply foundation plus mattifier etc. With this all I need is powder on top and Im done! Two simple steps after I wash my face from now on.

5I currently use the Bobbi Brown BB Cream SPF 35; however, I like this product much better. It blends incredibly well and covers any uneven complexion I have!

5I cannot say enough good thing about this product. It is awesome! I have been meaning to pick up a BB cream and I was excited to see it in my Glossy Box. This product gives great coverage. So great of coverage, I Don't need to use a foundation on top of it. I have sensitive/fair skin and this product didn't irritate my skin, which is a big plus. Being fair skinned I was worried the color would be too dark. I got the light beige and the color is perfect. At first I thought it was totally off but it blended very well and looked great. I wish it was a little more moisturizing. However, it still does do a good job at moisturizing my skin. I am very pleased it is SPF 42. Everyone needs a little protection from the sun. I also love the way this product smells. I how totally buy this product after I am done with the sample I was given.

Best BB Cream Experience!
5After spending a gread deal of money trying various brands over the past 6-months, this one showed up in my Sept glossybox and is amazing! Oily skin, yellow undertone complexion,and this product looks amazing with or without foundation and blew me away that the tint was perfect for my skin tone, usually the appearance is too light mask-like or too dark. How nice is it to receive an unexpected product that you look forward to becoming a long-time customer.

5This product moisturizes my super dry skin, covers up the redness of my cheeks, and matches almost perfectly to my skin tone (which is something that no other foundation has been able to do). I'm very happy I received this product in my glossy box this month, I will certainly re purchase it!

After a few minutes of having it on it seemed as though my dark marks underneath my eyes had vanished. I love the smooth soft consistent color it gives to my face. It also feels very light and isn't oily like other cover ups. All and all I love bob cream!
