Not my favorite eyeshadow

My two favorite eye shadow palettes at the moment are UD Naked Basics palette and NARS' Madrague, and in my opinion, this ModelCo eye shadow duo is like a bad copy of the NARS duo. It's definitely not nearly as high quality and the sparkles are too big. I really like to blend my eye shadows down in order to look more natural, and this product is just too glitsy in the lighter color and too heavy in the darker color to do that. If you're looking for a very pretty natural look, this isn't the product for you.

I liked the colors in the duo, it's very fall-like. I've been using it quite frequently, it's easy to carry around. However, I find there is quite a bit of fall-out what with all the sparkles.. the lighter shade more so than the dark one. I've found that using a primer really helps keep it in place though. Overall it's really pretty, and quite pigmented.

I love this shadow! I have to admit I was a bit surprised by how glittery it turned out to be, but I have worn it on several occasions both during the day (just used the lighter shade to highlight my eyes) and during the evening/night (both shades). I am loving it!

These are pretty colors, and the texture is really nice. But these are CRAZY sparkly. Definitely more than just shimmer, it's actual sparkly glitter. If you're over 35, as I am...it's a bit much. However, they really go on nicely and last well, so I will save it for Vegas!
