I was really excited to see this eye shadow in my Glossybox! I love neutral colors, and I think that the subtle touch of glitter makes these neutral tones unique and fun. I've noticed that I can really dress it up for a more dramatic, evening look, or easily wear during the day with warm Fall colors and it looks great! This was one of my favorite products from this month's box.

Too much shimmer

I really love ModelCo products, so I was really excited to see a full-sized ModelCo product in my glossybox. I wanted to love this eyeshadow duo. The colors are pretty, and I was convinced that the lighter color would be a perfect brow bone highlighter. After applying it, I looked like I got in a fight with a bottle of glitter... and lost. My brow bone was frighteningly sparkly, and the brown color was more shimmer than color. On top of that, the shimmer didn't even distribute evenly, so I had patches of glitter on my eyes instead of an even swath of glitter. Not good. I can see maybe applying the lighter color on top of eyeshadow to give it a shimmery look for going out or to dust lightly onto my cheekbones for a highlight, but the brown is essentially useless to me.

I really enjoyed these colors. Great start for Autumn! Great item, as I probably wouldn't of picked them for myself but now see myself buying them in the future! The only downside was they were a little too sparkly for day wear.
