I used this on washed hair with a leave-in. While blow drying it still left my hair shrunken and not stretched enough for the braided style I had in mind. As I used this my hair left no product on my hands. So it wasn't enough product for me and my kinky coily hair, While I was working in sections. I hope this is helpful to the women and men with type 4 hair.
