I wasn’t really impressed. I use a large comb as a detangler. I tried using this but the teeth on it are so tiny it did nothing for me.

I like this style paddle with no handle, and never tried one like it before. My hair is fairly long and I generally start brushing at the ends then move upwards. I am having more control with the design and it's easy to hold on to. I have not teased my hair in a decade, but may give that a go at upper crown for lift. I notice it glides with wet hair not tugging and distributes product evenly compared to wide tooth comb. Very pleased with this new to me design.

I wasn't super excited about this brush until I tried it. It is so nice. It gently stimulates the scalp and feels like a massage. Oh, it also glides through tangly hair with ease. Unfortunately, my daughter also loves it, so I gave it to her. I will order another one for myself.
