Surprised how much I like it

My hair gets really oily at the scalp and dry at the ends. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it and it's mid-back length. I thought co-washing would leave my hair flat so I've never tried it before. I think the Unwash may have changed my mind (during winter, at least)! It's been two days since I last washed it and my hair isn't greasy! Usually, by now, I'm in 'ponytails' only territory because of the oil at my roots.

This has been life changing for my hair. I have extremely damaged hair over processing/dying. I typically have to use 4 products daily to get my hair to look and feel healthy again. I wanted to love this product!! But it just isn't working with my hair type. I have dry hair but my scalp gets too oily if I don't shampoo daily. At my first use, I used in the morning before work and let my hair dry naturally. Then ends felt like straw and my roots were weighed down and oily. Yuck. Second time was better but I still noticed that my roots felt oily. I could never buy this product, even though it smells divine and was a nice idea for those hair types it will work for. \r\n

I really did not expect to like this product but of course went on to try it after getting it in my box. It doesn't lather like shampoo and therefore I felt it took a lot more than i normal. I have really long hair and I honestly feel like it would take way too much to use this all over my head so I focused it on my scalp like a do with shampoo and then used a little in combination with a conditioner on rest of my hair. I was very surprised that m hair dried clean and soft and not greasy. This product is quite expensive for how much it takes to clean my hair so I'm not sure if I will purchase it.

I have salt n pepper long straight thick fine hair. The grey in my hair is giving me some frizz. I'm trying different smothers and oils from the 9 subscription boxes I signed up for last month.
