A great tool
4I love the fact that I didn't have to spend the full 20$ on this sponge alone. I definitely is a great tool for application and blending however I still prefer clean hands to using a sponge.

Effective and fast
3I'm a self-proclaimed makeup junkie, but I could never justify spending $20 on what I thought amounted to a makeup sponge. Now that I've tried it? I still wouldn't go out to specifically buy this. It doesn't do anything that the brushes I already have can do. It really does feel like one of those makeup sponges you'll find in any drugstore or at Target. The egg shape is very ergonomically friendly and the tip is nice for getting in to the crooks and crannies of the face, but I have brushes that can do that. It does spread my foundation very quickly, so if I'm in a hurry, I would opt for the beauty blender over a brush, but a brush offers more precision. Also, the white color of the sponge makes for a long cleaning process. I've washed it after each time I used it - with regular dish soap - and it cleans after several cycles. I would have preferred the pink color just to hide some of the color, but that's just me. \r\nSo if you haven't invested in a good makeup brush, the beauty blender sponge is an adequate replacement, but for me, just another tool that I'll reach for occasionally.

Heard great things about it
3I usually use make up brushes with my mineral foundation but was excited to try this sponge! Packaging is super cute, but I thought it made my make up go on more blotchy and thicker than my usual brushes. I wet the sponge and dipped it into my mineral foundation and then dabbed/rubbed on my face. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

5This sponge works with pretty much any foundation or concealer. Even the thick Kat Von D spackle-y thick foundation. Seamless even coverage. Blends concealer well also. Make sure to wet it, it needs to be damp even when using with a water-proof foundation. Highly recommend.

So cool!
4it's not often you can say that about a makeup sponge but this one is shaped so differently from the others i have tried. The sponge cleaner was nice too but it kinda is a drawback that you have to purchase the cleaner whenever you run out..but i guess it would take awhile to run out of the full size cleaning product.

5I love the beauty blender, I use it everyday applying my concealer and makeup, so I was so excited to see it included in this month's box. If you haven't tried the beauty blender yet, do so, it will change the way you apply makeup forever.
