I've heard a lot about this product and assumed it was an overly hyped makeup sponge. But this is different. It does seem to soak up too much product and is easy to clean. It gives a very smooth and blended application.

I had no idea that I needed this product, but now I can't live without it. It's an amazing makeup blender, way better than wedges. I don't like the fact that it's white, though -- It's either stained or I can't get all of the makeup out of it, even washing it after every use, and it looks a little dirty.

In the past I tried a dupe beauty blender and it was awful. I just did not get the hype, my foundation brush was perfect to me. But when I received the original blender and tried it, omgoodness, what a difference. If just to use it for my concealer, applies flawless. I also love using it to apply my cream highlighters.

The texture of this sponge has a denseness that seems to enhance the application of liquid make up. I have used mostly for light foundations and I seem to get a nicer coverage, while maintaining the ligher, more translucent look and feel. Really good tool! I did not give it the full 5 stars because when I wash the sponge (after every single use) the make up tends to stain it easily. In other words, it never looks clean.
