I have never had good luck with black eye shadow. Most of the time it's too light and is more of a blotchy grey and/or it ruins the rest of my face make up. This is HEAVILY pigmented which is perfect. You use hardly any even for the smokiest eye which means it doesn't flake all over your face!

I love Glossybox and hate to write this review. OMG! This eyeshadow seemed to apply nicely, but about 15 minutes later the color was dull and it was everywhere around my eye area (except where I had applied it). I wear eyeshadow everyday and have never had such a mess. I tried it again with a different primer, still smudged, etc. This is the first product that I have received from Glossybox that I didn't care for.

I had this eye shadow for about four days before it just broke in my makeup bag. I had gone to my moms for Thanksgiving, bringing this along, and by the time I got home, it was ruined during travel. I wouldn't deem it completely useless, but I do have to be much more careful with it. Other than that, this is one of the most pigmented shadows I've ever used. The texture is very unique and feels nice on the eyelid.

I'm always looking for the perfect black shadow and I think this might be it. For some odd reason I didn't have my eyeshadow primer with me when opening my gb this month I was so excited to try out the eyeshadow brush and the eyeshadow. Without primer this shadow was still pretty amazing there was no fallout, no creasing, and it lasted from the time my mail arrived well into the evening.

Tried this shadow for the first time since receiving my Glossybox and I was very happily impressed. The shadow is soft, velvety and goes on smooth with very little fallout. I used a dark shadow base, and was able to obtain a deep color with a very light hand. It blended well and stayed where I put it. I will defintely be using this shadow in many looks over the holiday season!
