Christophe Robin Instant Volumizing Mist with Rosewater Who this is for: Fine hair that needs a residue-free boost

If you have fine hair, you know that the more products you put on your roots, the greasier your hair gets. Finally, the clouds have parted and the angels are singing! Powders, dry shampoos and aerosol sprays pale in comparison to this  brand new line of products from the hair god himself, Christophe Robin. He's a household name in France and has worked with the likes of Lea Seydoux and Cher. We visited his pop-up last month in NYC where he educated consumers about said line of products (including myself) and I can wholly admit he's onto something. This spray in particular protects color, nourishes the hair fiber, and provides body and volume—without drying it out. The alcohol-free formula is composed of 96 percent rosewater that delivers natural hold, while natural rose extracts prevent oxidation of color for a refreshed, healthy look. His insider tip was to spray a bit on your roots at night before bed, put your head upside down and massage your scalp to stimulate hair growth. This one's a keeper!

KEVIN.MURPHY STAYING.ALIVE Leave-in Treatment  Who this is for: Damaged hair in need of shine and strength

I have to be honest, i've never been a huge fan of leave-in treatments. They're typically goopy, balmy, and thick, which are the exact opposite of the consistencies I want to leave in my hair after i've just washed it. However, i'm someone who consistently styles my hair with heat and therefore know the importance of nourishing my ends. This product piqued my interest because of it's detangling powers and after a few uses, I knew it'd become a regular part of my routine. I look at it like a serum and this is why: it contains Olive Leaf Extract and Rose Hip Oil to protect the hair as well as Burdock Root extract and Ivy moisturize, soften and give flexibility. Think of it as vitamins for your locks and spray it when you get out of the shower, comb through, then style normally.

Ouidad Curl Quencher Hydrafusion Intense Curl Cream  Who this is for: Curly hair that tends to be dry and/or frizzy

If you have curly hair, you know how necessary products can be to maintain the type of curls you have. Ouidad is a star in this category and creates curl-specific products meant to hold your style sans the crunchy mess. This unique styling cream is specifically designed for tighter curls and contains Ouidad's HydraFusion complex, which is a blend of conditioners including milk thistle and sweet almond extract. These ingredients deliver intense moisture that feed and strengthen curls as they instantly define and soften.

Hairstory Dressed Up  Who is this for: Anyone and everyone

Created by Michael Gordon, the founder of Bumble & Bumble, this ultra cool brand has become wildly popular for being completely against shampoo and creating their own cleansing wash called 'New Wash.' Why does Gordon want you to toss out your beloved products? Because he likens shampoo to 'detergent' and notes that it's terrible for the scalp due to its tendency to strip it of its natural oils. What then are the benefits of New Wash, you ask? Well, it cuts down your necessity for multiple products to just one. In addition, its essential oils help keep moisture intact, make your scalp happy, and ensures your color lasts longer. That in mind, Hairstory's styling products impart that same mantra. Whether you have short or long hair, this creamy balm controls frizz and adds volume without weighing hair down.
